Chocolate, bananas, peanut butter?? Well, to each his own, I say. It's a mad, mad world out there, filled with fetishes, kinksters, and just plain "vanilla" folks. Too hard to check the many boxes people can now identify with on any form. As you could probably tell, among other things, I'm a foodie. Love to cook it, eat it, and search social media for new cooking ideas, or binge watch Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, for a not-so-quick fix to my food fantasy.
The erotic book world is filled with sexual foodies. From a Dom eating dinner off the trembling tummy of his
submissive, to those scenes where lovers are covered in chocolate and proceed to, er, well, you get the idea. It's a fine line between which is better - food or sex. And for many, it's one way to get the other. Dating protocol practically demands food before sex. Coffee, lunch, dinner, and then there's the tricky question of breakfast the morning after. To stay or not to stay...that is the true question.
These were the thoughts running through my mind as I succumbed to the fan pressure and produced a cookbook as an addition to my Tempered Steel Series. Readers love my sassy, quirky characters, my snappy dialogue, the uber-hot sex scenes and...the food! Many contacted me for the recipes for the scrumptious meals the matriarch of the family cooked up for those bad boy brothers and their sexy soul mates.
So I did it. And whether you are a sexual foodie or not, The Coalson Family Cookbook of Memories is chock full of great food and short stories of those alpha males when they were younger. And while this is completely sex-free and calorie-free, (I left them out; aren't I a nice author?) I promise to fill my future books with lust, love and a ton of sexual innuendo, so don't worry I've not given up erotic romance for cookbook stardom. However, you never know what I'll be cooking up next!
*The Coalson Family Cookbook of Memories will be available in eBook and paperback from Amazon on Nov. 14, 2017. I'm also offering a special, signed spiral bound copy through my website for the holiday season starting Nov. 16th.
